Eastern Power

Making “Eastern Power” was awesome. I got to explore a ton of history, myth and literature from a different part of the world, which is something I already love to do, and then integrate all of that into an album full of music. China, India, Persia, Russia, Thailand and Kazakhstan influences are all represented here. Each track is a rock, metal or synth fusion with a different region’s traditional instruments, and tells the story of some piece of history, myth or culture of the region — at least my musical interpretation of that story. I absolutely loved making it.
